I'm really stressed out, there's just too much crap going on for me to deal with right now. Nothing major wrong but a thousand different things that all add up to create chaos in my mind that won't leave me alone for five minutes.

because Blogger sucks, and WON'T LET ME. For some reason, i haven't been able to comment on my own blog, what the fuck is up with that?

Half the time, it won't let me make a post, either. I'm getting sick of Blogger, I need a new alternative that's free, because I'm cheap and don't like to spend money unless I have to.

Any suggestions?

oh yeah, in response to Margo in my last post: That lady took a nosedive in front of my station, and got a nosebleed(yes, there was no real "serious injury, I sometimes exaggerate, if you can believe THAT!)

the Country Club.....

Ok, so I DID get that job at the Country Club. After the manager called to inform me he had filled the position, he called back a few days later and asked me if I was still interested in working there, because the first chick they hired couldn't hack it and only lasted one night(how reassurring....)

Anyhow, it turns out to be the easiest job I've ever had, and fun too. I don't see how anyone couldn't handle THAT job, really, I get to stand there and show people where their tables are, make reservations, bus a table once in a while. Easy. Last night was the biggest night we've had sinse I've been there(what, two weeks?) and I handled everything with grace and efficiency, only assigning two parties to one table at the same time twice, and for the whole night, ONLY ONE guest was severly injured!!!

Well there's still two hours, but I'm going to bed. I know, lame. But that's ok. I don't mind. I used to love new years eve, but I'm not really into drinking or partying anymore, which I'm extremely grateful for.

I got a second interview at the country club, this time with the restaurant manager, so I'm happy (and surprised) about that. So perhaps I didn't make quite as much of a fool of myself as I had previously assumed. Or they're desperate for workers. It's really not an appealing job. Minimum wage plus tips if the waitresses feel like being generous, no benefits that I know of, it's out in the middle of nowhere, and the guy flat out told me the club members are arrogant assholes. Exciting! But I don't give a rat's ass right now, I need a job and I'll work just about anywhere right now (excluding, maybe, Burger King or shrimp picking.)

My job interview didn't go so well :( I think I acted like a moron. My mind went blank during key moments. *sigh* I even said at one point "I'm nervous...this is a job interview." And when I'm nervous I tend to laugh (giggle,actually, it's pathetic) and say things that are completely inappropriate. Please don't mock me, I'm down and I can't take it.

But I looked good, so maybe that helped a little bit. I don't think so.

No country club for me, so sad.

I have another interview tomorrow, let's hope this one goes better. This one's at a beer bar, so there's hope for me yet.

It was nice. The food turned out good. People were happy. I love Christmas but I'm SO FUCKING GLAD IT'S OVER. Now I can concentrate on other things I need to.

....and it's very patriotic, being shaped as the United States of America. I'm proud to be an American, a country where I can freely buy chocolate poptarts, and bite them into any shape I want to. Oh the wonderfullness of Freedom!

I spent most of the morning today looking for a job. NO ONE is hiring right now, but that's to be expected at this time of year. I need to get my own place SOON. Before I go insane. Living with your ex can be incredibly disruptive. I wrapped all of my christmas presents, so I'm done with that. No one is coming to my Christmas party. Everyone's snowed in, it sucks. My ex's parents will be coming over, however. Plus I can't get my tree stay straight, it keeps leaning over.This is the biggest one I've gotten yet,it's 6 feet. Really pretty though. All the snow on the coast is gone. Yay! I hear there's more coming though.
